How the Itinerary Planning Process Works

Creating an itinerary is a thoughtful, step‑by‑step process aimed at delivering a functional and realistically achievable travel plan, tailored precisely to your travel dates, budget, and personal travel style.

This is not just inspiration, but a clear, practical plan designed to work in real life.

1. Initial Non‑Binding Consultation (15–20 minutes)

The process begins with a short online consultation (phone or video call), which is completely free and non‑binding.

The purpose of this consultation is to:

  • determine whether I can genuinely assist you with planning your journey,
  • understand your expectations, priorities, and travel preferences.

We will typically discuss:

  • which islands may be most suitable for you (Tahiti, Moorea, Huahine, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Fakarava, etc.),
  • whether a single island or a multi‑island itinerary makes sense,
  • your preferred travel style (comfort, authenticity, nature, lagoons, snorkeling, diving, etc.),
  • your approximate budget and length of stay,
  • whether you are traveling as a couple, a family, or independently.

If after the consultation you decide that the service is not right for you, the collaboration simply ends at that point.

2. Bespoke Itinerary Design

If you choose to continue, I will prepare a fully bespoke itinerary tailored specifically to you.

Each itinerary is developed in multiple stages and is based on personal destination knowledge and real‑time verification of all travel components.

Before the itinerary is delivered, I

  • verify the actual availability of accommodation directly with providers,
  • ensure that pricing aligns with the agreed budget,
  • review domestic flights and inter‑island transfers,
  • check availability of local excursions, activities, and services,
  • and only then finalize a day‑by‑day travel plan.

All locations included in the itinerary are personally vetted and based on my repeated visits to the destination and hands‑on experience with what works reliably in practice.

3. Refinement and Adjustments

The proposed itinerary is refined together based on your feedback. This may include:

  • adjusting the pace of the journey,
  • changing the order of islands,
  • refining the budget,
  • adapting the overall travel style.

The goal is to ensure the final itinerary fits you perfectly — realistic, smooth, and enjoyable.

4. Final Itinerary – Ready for Implementation

Once refined, you will receive a final itinerary that

  • is complete,
  • includes all essential information in one place,
  • is immediately ready to be implemented.

At this stage, you may choose one of two options:

  • travel independently using the prepared itinerary,
  • or have the journey arranged through a trusted partner travel agency.

5. Optional Travel Arrangement via a Partner Travel Agency

If you decide that you would like not only a planned itinerary but also a fully arranged trip without further coordination, I can assist with the transition to a trusted local partner travel agency based in Tahiti.

I know this travel agency personally and have collaborated with them over the long term.
During my repeated visits to French Polynesia, I have met their team in person several times, understand how they operate, and trust their work in practice.

Based on your completed itinerary, I will connect you with the agency so that they can:

  • seamlessly build upon the prepared plan,
  • take over the necessary reservations,
  • provide support before departure and throughout your stay.

All payments for travel services are made directly between the client and the local travel agency.
The itinerary serves as a carefully prepared planning foundation, not as a tour package offer.

This approach allows you to choose whether to travel independently or enjoy the comfort of full travel arrangements, while keeping the entire process clear, secure, and straightforward.

Why My Itineraries Have Lasting Value

The itinerary fee is not a payment for a document, but an investment in a thoroughly verified and functional travel plan.

Each itinerary represents many hours of professional work, during which the plan is repeatedly reviewed and refined to ensure it works not only in theory, but in the real operational conditions of the destination.

A bespoke itinerary

  • saves you dozens of hours of research and comparison,
  • helps avoid outdated information and dead ends,
  • protects you from inefficient logistics,
  • gives you confidence that all recommended locations are personally vetted and available for your specific travel dates.

Summary

This itinerary is not internet inspiration. It is a complete, verified, and realistic travel plan, prepared specifically for your journey.
