About Me – Your Guide to French Polynesia

My name is Katerina, and French Polynesia is a place I keep returning to. I'm drawn to its nature, its lagoons, the calm rhythm of the islands, and the feeling of being in a completely different world compared to Europe.

I have visited French Polynesia multiple times and gradually explored many of its islands, including Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Huahine, Maupiti, Bora Bora, Tikehau, Rangiroa and Fakarava. I don't travel only to resorts — I'm interested in the real life of the islands. I look for places with atmosphere, small family guesthouses, quiet beaches, local restaurants and hidden corners you won't find in typical travel catalogues.

I have travelled in Polynesia both as a couple and with my family. Thanks to this, I know how to design a trip so that it is comfortable, well‑planned in terms of logistics and enjoyable for everyone — whether you're travelling as a pair or with kids.

French Polynesia is often seen as an extremely expensive destination.

And yes — if you spend two weeks in a luxury overwater villa, it can certainly be costly.
But Polynesia can be experienced in many different ways. You can explore the islands independently, combine several of them into one journey and stay in beautiful family‑run pensions with incredible atmosphere — places that often feel far more authentic than large resorts. This style of travel is the one closest to my heart.

Over time, more and more people began reaching out for help with their own trips to Polynesia. And from that, Mana Polynesia was born.

I help travellers from all over the world create a detailed, tailor‑made itinerary — so they can experience more than one resort and truly discover the life and beauty of the islands. Every itinerary is based on personal experience and practical knowledge of how to move between the islands, where to stay and what is truly worth experiencing.

In Tahiti, I cooperate with a trusted local partner who can arrange the full realization of the trip if needed — including airport pickup, inter‑island transfers and activity bookings.

I work with clients from many different countries. Even though I am physically based in the Czech Republic, all trip planning is done online, so travellers from anywhere in the world can reach out.

And there's someone else I'd like to introduce — meet Máňa, the little travel companion of Mana Polynesia.
She explores the most beautiful corners of French Polynesia with me, and you can often spot her on our Instagram and Facebook.
You might see her appear in some of the photos — she helps me capture the atmosphere of the places I visit.
