About Me – Your Guide to French Polynesia

My name is Katerina and French Polynesia is a place I keep returning to. I'm fascinated by its nature, lagoons, the calm atmosphere of the islands and a way of life that feels completely different from Europe.

I have visited French Polynesia several times and gradually explored multiple islands, including Tahiti, Moorea, RaiateaHuahine, Maupiti, Bora Bora, Tikehau, Rangiroa and Fakarava. I don't travel only to resorts – I'm interested in the real life of the islands. I look for places with atmosphere, small family guesthouses, quiet beaches, local restaurants and spots that you often won't find in typical travel catalogues.

I have travelled to Polynesia both as a couple and with my family and children. Thanks to that, I know how to plan a trip so that it is comfortable, manageable in terms of logistics and enjoyable for everyone – whether you travel as a couple or as a family.

French Polynesia often has a reputation for being a very expensive destination. And yes – if you want to spend two weeks in a luxury overwater villa in a resort, the trip can indeed be very costlly. However, Polynesia can also be experienced in a different way. The islands can be explored, combined into a multi-island trip and you can stay in beautiful family guesthouses and small pensions that have an amazing atmosphere and often offer a much more authentic experience than large resorts. This style of travel is the one closest to me.

Over time, people started reaching out to me for advice while planning their trip to Polynesia. From these experiences the project Mana Polynesia was created.

I help travelers prepare a detailed itinerary tailored to their needs – so that they experience more than just one resort and can truly discover the life and beauty of the islands. Every itinerary is based on personal experience and practical knowledge about how to travel between islands, where to stay and what is truly worth experiencing.

In Tahiti I cooperate with a trusted local partner who can arrange the complete realization of the trip if needed – including airport pickup, transfers between islands and booking activities.

I work with clients from many different countries. Even though I am physically based in the Czech Republic, trip planning happens online, so travelers from anywhere in the world can reach out.
